Respiratory Viruses Detection Kit |
Introduction
Seegene’s respiratory viruses detection kit is designed to
detect 11 types of RNA viruses and 1 type of DNA virus, which are
responsible for respiratory diseases in humans. The kit uses Seegene's
new Multiplex-PCR DSO primer technology.
RNA virus (11 type): human metapneumovirus , human
coronavirus 229E/NL63 , human coronavirus OC43 , human rhinovirus
, human respiratory syncytial virus A , human respiratory syncytial
virus B , human parainfluenzavirus 1 , human parainfluenzavirus
2 , human parainfluenzavirus 3 , influenza A virus , influenza B
virus.
DNA virus (1 type): human adenovirus.

1. Coverage for 12 respiratory viruses
Seegene’s RV detection kit is designed to detect 12
types of respiratory viruses, some of which are not detectable
by other commercial virus detection kits.
2. High sensitivity
Because Seegene's DSO™ technology enhances the sensitivity
of the multiplex PCR, it is possible to detect the minimum
amount of virus in the sample.
3. High Specificity
Because Seegene's DSO™ technology enhances the specificity
of the multiplex PCR, it is possible to detect only the targeted
bands without any non-specific bands.
4. Use of Hot start Taq DNA polymerase
Seegene’s RV detection kit adopts a hot start Taq DNA
polymerase. By limiting polymerase activity prior to PCR cycling,
non-specific amplification is reduced and target yield is
increased. |
