Forever Size Markers |
New concept Forever Size Marker series (patent pending) is designed
to use for a lifetime with a single time purchase. The series is
totally distinguished from any existing commercialised consumable
DNA ladders. This product also enables the researcher to make their
own ladders according to their needs and styles.
Currently available DNA ladders are Forever 100 bp Ladder Personaliser
/ Forever Multi-Ladder Personaliser I. Seegene is continuously developing
the Forever Size maker series to meet various researchers needs.
Features
- Lifetime usage with a single time purchase
Sufficient template and primers are supplied to provide enough
markers for years in the typical laboratory. If needed, the plasmids
can be transformed to yield an unlimited supply of templates and
the primer sequences are supplied so that you can replace them
if necessary. In addition, see the table below to see how much

- Personalized DNA ladder
The ladders can be customized according to customer needs and
styles by selecting the specific size of templates of ones interest.
- 300~400 loading per PCR
12 different plasmids are supplied in ready-to-PCR use condition.
The concentration of each template (plasmid) and PCR conditions
are set to amplify various fragments in the same reaction to generate
a ladder of approximately equal intensities, with a couple at
higher concentration for orientation. This can be done to generate
a quick ladder, albeit without accurately knowing the amount of
each band as obtained when the mix is generated after quantitation
of each PCR product. Simply amplify each of the differently sized
fragments using the Ready-PCR format plasmids. Any further steps
of transformation, plasmid preps, restriction analysis, etc. are
not needed.
- Applicable for control probe
12 different plasmids have different kinds of genes such as p53,
GAPDH, C-myc, C-fos, TNF, NOS, CD4, IFN, GM-CSF, IL-1a, SCI/MIP-1a,
and Beta 2-microglobulin. These genes can be used as control probes
in other research such as hybridization-related experiments. In
addition, this ladder can be radiolabeled using T4 DNA polymerase.
